Marriage License
FLORIDA MARRIAGE REQUIREMENTS:
A Marriage license is issued to both Florida residents and non-residents. Marriage license requirements include:
- Age – must be 18 years old
- Couple must appear in person to obtain a license
- I.D. with the date of birth and photo must be provided (driver’s license, passport, etc)
- For Florida residents there is a three (3) day waiting period from the date of the marriage license issuance. This requirement may be waived if you choose to attend a premarital class and present a certificate of attendance to the marriage clerk at the time of application. (we can provide this service)
- If previously married, a copy of the final judgment of the divorce or death certificate is required
TIMING:
Licenses are issued immediately and must be used within 60 days from the date of issue

Florida marriage license is $93.50 cash only. Reduced fee for Florida residents who elect the premarital class. Couples living in other parts of Florida can bring a license with them from their home county.
